Geoff Roach didn't set out to run his own company. He started as a fire sprinkler apprentice in the union, learning pipe, code, and layout from people who'd been doing it for decades. From there he made journeyman, then foreman, running commercial crews on jobs that ranged from single-family homes to warehouses pushing 100,000 square feet.
Fourteen years into the trade, he started Rain City Fire Protection to do the work differently: one specialist handling a job start to finish, instead of a company juggling five trades and a rotating bench of technicians. Today Rain City is licensed, bonded, insured to $1,000,000, and NICET Level 3 Certified, with 95+ residential fire sprinkler systems permitted across the Puget Sound since 2023.
The motto hasn't changed since day one: do it right or do it twice.
